suso.org has its own name servers which can host your domain name
that you already have registered. Your registrar (ie. Network Solutions,
Register.com, DirectNic.com) should have a function on their website to
allow you to login and change the DNS servers that your domain points to.
The first thing you'll want to do is let us know that you want to transfer
a domain to our DNS servers. If you don't do this, then your domain may
not be accessable.
But before we do that, you should ask yourself if you use this domain
for anything besides a website or mail and that the only hostnames
that you have setup on this domain are ones like www, web, mail and
so on. If you have anything else setup on this domain, please let us
know before starting the transfer. After you transfer the domain, you should
also let us know that you have transfered it so that we can set it up.
When you are ready to transfer your domain, login to your registrar's
website and go to the page that will allow you to change the DNS servers
that the domain points to. You should change the DNS servers to:
ns1.suso.org (primary)
ns2.suso.org (secondary)
If they require IP addresses instead of names or in additon to names,
please use:
216.9.132.140 (primary)
216.9.132.150 (secondary)
Now that you've made this change, it will probably take anywhere from a
few hours to a day for your domain to start being served from suso.org's
name servers. Please remember to let us know that you have transfered
this domain to our DNS servers so that we can make the change to accept it.
